Bow-Tie Pasta with Flair

This dish is super easy and super yummy.  A few fresh ingredients lend a classic pasta some much needed flair.  The beauty of this recipe is that you can either add, or remove, any item that you want and it will still turn out awesome! I hope you enjoy my latest experiment!

Ingredients:

2 cups Bow-Tie Pasta (I used the large size)
1 12 oz can  Hunts Green Pepper, Celery & Onion Diced Tomatoes
1/2 of a  12 oz can Black Olives, sliced
1 cup red grape tomatoes, halved
1 cup yellow grape tomatoes, halved
1 tbs crushed rosemary
1/2 tbs garlic salt
2-3 tbs olive oil

Directions:

Cook your pasta according to the package directions. While its cooking slice your olives, and cut your tomatoes in half.  Add these, along with the olive oil, rosemary and garlic salt, to a saute pan and cook your veggies until softened.  (it will look mushy, which is a good thing, I promise!).

By this time your pasta should be done.  Drain, but leave it in the pot.  Add your tomato mixture and stir.

Serve with your favorite breadstick and a glass of iced tea.
